Televiland (テレビランド ) also known as TV land, Television land or Terran, was a company owned by Toei Animation and was a rival company to Adventure King (冒険王 Bōken-ō ). Televiland published mangas from February of 1973 all the way to January of 1997.
In its lifetime, it published two Jetter Mars-related stories in its Magazine and in a Manga. The company also allowed a company named "Popy" (later renamed to Bandai) to make a bunch of Jetter Mars merchandise.
Televiland could also get confused with the North American basic cable and satellite television channel "TV land". TV land is owned by Viacom Global Entertainment Group, a unit of the Viacom Media Networks division of Viacom.
